20 Years of Rex Club in Paris
An event not to be missed: The Rex club in Paris celebrates 20 years of electronic music from May 14th to May 31st 2008.
The line-up includes such big names as Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, Larry Heard, Robert Owens, Luciano, Dubfire, Daniel Bell, Troy Pierce, Magda, Heartthrob, Chloe, Jennifer Cardini, Ellen Allien, Agoria, Modselektor, Boys Noize, Mlle Caro, Anja Scheinder, Martin Buttrich, Damian Lazarus, Pigon, Miss Kittin, The Hacker, Alexander Robotnick, Green Velvet.
The Rex club was the first club in Paris to concentrate on electronic music and moreover was the first club to invite the pioneers of acid house (Mike Pickering, Andrew Weatherall), the big names in Techno (Underground Resistance, Dave Clarke, Derrick May ...), as well as artists from other genres like breakbeat, drum & bass, electro hip hop, nu soul…
