Amy Winehouse has cancelled all of her shows down to the end of the year. But lucky enough there´s television.
German TV channel Arte shows Amy Winehouse´ s gig at the Shepherds Bush Empire (Mai 2007) today, at 11:45 p.m.. View also the documentary film “I told you I was trouble” (Dec. 6 - 8, 2007) over here!
Together with Kanye West she leads the Grammy nominations. She earned altogether 6 Grammy nominations for Best New Artist of the Year along with Feist, Paramore, Taylor Swift and Ledesi; Best Song of the Year (Rehab) as well as Best Album of the Year (Back to Black). In the album of the year category she is competing with Beyonce, Foo Fighter, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake and Kanye West. In the Pop Vocal Album category she is competing with Feist, McCartney, Bon Jovi and Maroon 5.
Further top nominees are the Foo Fighters, Jay-Z, Paul McCartney and Timbaland. The 50th Annual Grammy Awards are set to take place in Los Angeles on the 10th of February 2008.
She will release “Love Is A Losing Game”, her fourth single from the album “Back to Black” on December 14. “Love Is A Losing Game” will be another autobiographical song by Amy Winehouse: “If I haven´t experienced it myself I couln´t make a song of it.”
