Chanel Paris-Londres Trailer
On december the 6th Chanel will do it’s Paris-Londres pre-collection fashion show.
Though it was not quite clear where exactly this memorable event would take place and the first guess would naturally be Paris, we now can confirm that it will be London/England.
The new Phillips de Pury gallery will see Karl Lagerfeld and his high class selection of models present the latest Paris-Londres collection. The whole collection is inspired by the men who influenced Coco Chanel like Captain Arthur Edward “Boy” Capel, the English polo player who financed Coco Chanel’s first shop.
Capel’s uniform blazers are said to have inspired Chanel to inject a squared-off, more masculine touch to her classic bouclé suiting. Lagerfeld also looked the Duke of Westminster, Hugh Richard Arthur Grosvenor, whose English sensibilities rubbed off on Coco Chanel’s design aesthetic.
