createurope: The Fashion Academy Award

On the 18th of October 2008, the renovated pump halls, in the Radialsystem V, will be the setting for the createurope Fashion Awards - Final Fashion Show in Berlin

Twenty-eight models from Berlin, wearing the 120 creations of the finalists selected from over a thousand applicants from 39 countries, will display the unique mixture of European young fashion.

On the previous day, the jury, consisting of prominent personalities (Dirk Schönberger, Margareta van den Bosch, Isabella Gleize, Maia Guarnaccia, Petar Petrov and Dagmar Wöhrl) will select three winners, who will receive the extraordinary, career-related Prizes: Best Upcoming Designer Award, Best Avantgard Award and the Best Student Award.

The Party in Berlin and in the Internet

In a second hall, the event will be transmitted live on big screens and in the internet, so that not only the party guests will be able to follow the show and the award ceremony in the Radialsystem V, but also all other candidates and friends of createurope in the whole (internet) world. After the trophies, designed by the British scupltor Anthony Cragg, have been awarded, there will dancing and a celebration, to which 600 guests will be invited.
