Diamanten und Raketen II

Roman Fluegel has compiled the 2nd installment of Klang Elektronik´s “Diamanten und Raketen” series due out March 31, 2008.

Originally founded by Ata, Heiko MSO, J. E. Wuttke and Roman Fluegel back in 1993, the aim of Klang Elektronik was to leave boring trance or dreary hit techno behind in order to make way for the heart and soul of electronic music. This attitude is what inspired the releases on “Klang” which meanwhile comprise close to 130 12” singles and 16 CDs and are still a style-guide to this very day.

“Diamanten & Raketen II” is a selection of 14 tracks from the labels back catalogue, which are neither pioneering nor a chronologically compiled summary of the last ten catalogue numbers but a reflection of someone’s personal taste. The complete album is streamed over at ongaku.de.
