Dis-Patch Festival 2007: Monolake
This year´s Dis-Patch festival, which will be held October 18th - 22nd in Belgrade, focuses on Robert Henke´s (Monolake) new interactive installation - CYCLONE.
Besides of the world premiere of CYCLONE, Monolake will present two exciting live projects: the fresh Monolake club set accompanied by live video and the 6-channel drone performance Layering Buddha.
Furthermore, the music/technology link and live context (also presented at the festival by cutting-edge projects such as Reactable and Cubing by Artificiel) will be further dissected in a special panel program supported by Ableton, in which Robert Henke, as well as former Monolake member now Ableton CEO Gerhard Behles and others will work with local musicians and interested individuals through presentations, lectures and discussions.
This program will also deal with the future of distribution of music, independent industry and the temptations of a redefined music market.
Furthermore the program includes performances from Artificiel, Noze, Add Noise, moHA!, Lasse Marhaug and a Mosz label showcase with Martin Siewert, Kapital Band 1 and dieb13.
