Electronation 5 Years compilation
To celebrate 5 years of Electronation parties the Dutch organisation will release the debut compilation mixed by DJ Mason on October 12, 2007 on Lektroluv.
It’s now five years since the Dutch Electronation organisation has been founded. In those five years they have organised hundreds of house and electro parties at dozens of venues featuring acts like Technotonic, Dopplereffekt and events for such imprints as Get Physical and Kompakt.
Mason, Electronation resident since day one, has naturally been asked to mix their debut compilation. Last year saw the release of his megahit ‘Exceeder’ on several labels and his first live music appearance with his studio partner Coen Berrier as ‘Mason & The Maker’. His sound is defined as electro and breaks which he blends together in an energetic mix like this time on the ‘Electronation 5 Years compilation’ featuring such artists as Alexander Robotnik, Feist, Chris Micali Vs. The Luxembourg Brothers, Merkins, Johan Ilves, Duoteque, Nathan Fake, Alloy Mental, The Subs, Håkan Lidbo among others.
