What is more beautiful than the summer sun, the beach and of course music? Nothing!
And therefore the Festival Internacional de Benicàssim (FIB) annually attracts with this unbeatable combination. Also this year it will work again as a carrier of the Spanish independent, alternative and electro-music scene.
The mixture is what Benicàssim is all about: The organizers combine hot established acts and newcomers alike. So from the 17th until the 20th of July My Bloody Valentine, the Babyshambles, Siouxsie, Leonard Cohen and Mika swirl the sand in the province of Castellon on the sunny east coast.
Depending on the campground, the Mediterranean is only a few minutes walk away. On the Benicàssim is a wonderfully relaxed holiday atmosphere. And, as usual, the line-up is flanked by a colorful program of “non-musical activities”: Short film festival, dance, theater, fashion, art - plus all kinds of extra-seminar activities.
For these short vacation package including trendiest bands the price of 170 euros for the four-day pass seems more than justified. In addition, the ticket entitles you, to linger fornine days at the FIB-camp: Monday, 14th of July, to Tuesday, 22nd of July.
