The great opening gala to the upcoming Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin will again see HUGO at Berlin’s Tempelhof airport.

HUGO delivers innovative looks for men and women with a young, upbeat lifestyle. With their stylistically unique, innovative vibe, the collections target a clientele that defines fashion as a matter of attitude – not of age.

The first HUGO collection was presented in 1993. Initially introduced as a pure menswear line, its notable success on the market led to the launch of a HUGO womenswear collection in 1998. Today the HUGO world is rounded out by a full range of shoes and accessories, along with eyewear and fragrances produced under license.

Since June 2007, the brand has been driven creatively by the Englishman Eyan Allen as Creative Director and the Belgian Bruno Pieters as Art Director and external consultant.

HUGO is currently available in 48 countries around the world. A unique store concept and seasonal advertising campaigns featuring international photographers and models enhance the brand image. Glamorous shows and events in the worlds of fashion, sponsorship and film lend the collections added emotional and experiential impact.

The first HUGO special concept store was opened in central Berlin in 2005, a second shortly thereafter in Stockholm. Additional openings in the world’s fashion capitals are planned.
