With ‘My Best Remixes’ Joakim will release his best works as a remixer on Discograph on October 27, 2008.
After 3 albums (« Tiger Sushi » 1999, « Fantômes » 2003, « Monsters and Silly Songs » 2006) he now returns with a remix album.
Joakim´s style of remixing resembles the Haute Couture in the way that experimentation is strictly limeted, each track is dedicated to the dancefloor and reveals the potential of the original track.
His remixes featuring the likes of Cut Copy, Alter Ego, DJ Mehdi, The Chap, Tiga, Late Of The Pier and Antena range between melancholic, euphoric, mental and vibrant. “My Best Remixes” promises to be an electronic compilation with mysterious, intimate and playful tracks.
