Kai Kühne - International styles at Berlin Fashion Week

Kai Kühne presented his collection on the 20th of July during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin at Berlin’s Bebelplatz.

That Berlin fashion isn’t as bad as some might like it to be and the Fashion Week which was originated by Mercedes-Benz and IMG will turn out as a story of success over the years ain’t no secret anymore. We were delighted to see during last fashion week that even more designers like Kai Kühne who already got recognized abroad showed their latest designs.

Kai Kühne who is about to present his collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York in autumn and who’se fashion has fans like Gwineth Paltrow and Jennifer Lopez showed in Berlin exactly why his creations get recognized across the german borders.

Inspired by movies from the 40’s Kai Kühne showed at Bebelplatz his personal interpretation of the 90’s. American elegance, straight lines, waisted dresses which have enough comfort characterize his designs.

Of course Kai Kühne uses first class materials like cashmere, angora and exquisite silk and furs for his dresses which have that certain aura of cool elegance. Always up to be ahead of the time, he gets rid of the ordinary and adds an avant-garde touch to the dresses.

Mainly dark colours, shining metallic here and there in combination with exquisite materials add the “glamorous touch” to his designs which lets him be successful internationally.

Kai Kühne was very positively accepted by the fashion pros in the Berlin audience and we’d like to wish him all the success at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York that his appealing designs deserve.
