KAZELL joins SASHA and DIGWEED
Kazell’s sound is a fusion of many diverse genres. It incorporates elements of dub and funk and presents them on a foundation of forward thinking house music. Strong rhythm and bass are crucial to Kazell’s style, yet he is able to switch between melodic elements that are warm and soulful and tough and electronic. Always at the heart of Kazel’s DJ sets and music is a desire to
present quality tracks put together in way that keeps dancefloors rocking while appealing to both intellectual and casual listeners.
This past year has seen Kazell take time out from producing his own tracks to concentrate on building his reputation as a sound designer in Hollywood. He has been able to work alongside the legendary film composer Harry Gregson Williams (Shrek, Kingdom of Heaven) on the upcoming Disney blockbuster, Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Kazell has continued to DJ regularly in Los Angeles, holding down his always-popular bi-monthly Influx Audio residency at LA’s premier electronic music venue, Avalon Hollywood.
