Madonna - Sticky & Sweet world tour 2008
What has been only a rumour till only few hours ago now got officially confirmed. In summer and autumn Madonna will tour the world.
After recent news that „Hard Candy“ went to the top position of the international music charts immediately, we now have proof that Madonna’s „Sticky & Sweet Tour“ will start on the 23rd of August in Cardiff and it’ll take her around the world till September. Between the 28th of August and the 9th of September she will visit Germany three times.
The US leg of her „Sticky & Sweet Tour“ starts on the 3rd. of October in East Rutherford, New Jersey, followed by New York’s Masison Square Garden on the 6th and 7th of October, followed by shows in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles as well as other cities, before it ends on the 26th of November in Miami’s Dolphin Stadium. At the end of the year her “Sticky & Sweet Tour” will visit Mexico and South America (Dates and presale information for those markets will be announced soon).

Madonna who got awarded with many Grammies and recently became a member of the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame is famed for her forward and multi dimensional tours which containt audio visual extravaganzas, non-stop singing and breathtaking dancing. Madonna’s last tour, her 2006 “Confessions” tour with shows in 25 countries, including Moskow, reached more than 1.3 million fans and is currently the most successful tour of a female artist.
The sale for her German concerts on the 28th auf August in Berlin, the 4th of September in Düsseldorf and the 9th of September in Frankfurt start on the 21st of May at 9am at http://www.eventim.de and all well known ticket vendors. Ticket prices range from 60 to 175 Euros.
