Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin - 2009/2010

According to the international fashion calendar, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin will take place one week later next year.

That will allow the fashion industry to attend not only shows in Paris, but also integrate Berlin as a fixed appointment in their travel schedule.

After an extraordinary season in July 2008, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin and PREMIUM Exhibitions, with continued support by the Senate for Economics, Technology and Women’s Issues Berlin, are now announcing the dates of their activities for the next three seasons. A common date with Berlin’s tradeshows and other fashion events will again ensure a compact and diverse program for buyers, journalists and fashion experts.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin Autumn/Winter 2009: 29.01.2009 – 01.02.2009
PREMIUM Exhibitions: 30.01.2009 – 01.02.2009

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin Spring/Summer 2010: 16.07.2009 – 19.07.2009
PREMIUM Exhibitions: 17.07.2009 – 19.07.2009

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin Autumn/Winter 2010: 28.01.2010 – 31.01.2010
PREMIUM Exhibitions: 29.01.2010 – 31.01.2010

Within only three seasons the fashion events in the city of Berlin have grown into a remarkable and strong collaboration that will continue to be successful. A huge number of fashion experts, media and celebrities secure the awareness that the designers and their collections need to be discussed and bought worldwide. This season not only the national, but also the international media coverage was very successful.

“The early announcement of the dates of the next seasons allows planning reliability and makes the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin as well as PREMIUM Exhibitions even more interesting for designers, press, exhibitors and buyers both nationally and internationally,“ says Harald Wolf, Senate for Economics, Technology and Women’s Issues, Berlin. “That’s a good basis to be admitted to the top fashion centers worldwide in the future.”
