Michael Jackson - This Is It in Germany
Just today the German version of the movie poster for the upcoming screenings of Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” got released.
Starting on October 28, the world will have a front row seat in Michael Jackson’s final show, when Sony Pictures Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment will bring MICHAEL JACKSON’S THIS IS IT to the movie theaters for two weeks. Due to the huge request, ticket sales in Germany will start on September 27.
MICHAEL JACKSON’S THIS IS IT is produced with full support by the Estate of Michael Jackson. The concert film contains footage from the many hundred hours of rehearsals as well as behind the scenes material, which was recorded in High Definition and State of The Art Digital Sound, just when the singer was preparing for his London concerts. The film will be a one of it’s kind complete retrospective of Michael Jackson’s career and contain interviews with some of Jackson’s closest friends and colleagues.
The majority of the footage was recorded in June 2009 at LA’s Staples Center as well as at Inglewood’s Forum, where Jackson got in shape for This Is It, the series of 50 concerts, that he was going to present at London’s O2 Arena. MICHAEL JACKSON’S THIS IS IT will allow some rare and intimate look behind the scenes, on the artist, his career and his spectacular stage show, for all Jackson fans and music lovers around the globe. The film offers some unique and one of it’s kind chance to be close and personal and will fascinate the viewers with it’s amazing footage. Goose bumps guaranteed!
