Miss Kittin - BatBox
Miss Kittin is set to release her 2nd solo album “BatBox” in January ‘08 and its first single “Kittin Is High” in November ‘07 on her label “Nobody’s Bizzness”.
The first single off the forthcoming Miss Kittin album, “BatBox”, represents the opening track from her highly anticipated second solo album, the single contains two substantial remixes of “Kittin is High”. Norwegian underground talent Black Labelle have delivered a linear “9/11” version; tense, brooding and dismantled to its most essential club elements. They then carefully rebuild the track over the course of ten minutes.
Fellow DJ playmate and NagNagNag resident, JoJo de Freq’s “Beauty is Terror” mix frames Kittin’s lyricswithin a big, bouncing, acid-tinged bassline, interspersed with Euro-synth stabs. Each mix further highlights Miss Kittin’s prominence as a key figure in the underground dance music scene. Careful now… “Vampires are asleep, Witches are taking over”
“Kittin is High” is out on Nobody’s Bizzness in late November 2007: 12“ single and digital download out on 30th November.
