Penkov - Fashion Week London

Bernadett Penkov’s clothes look as if they could easily be blown away by a light summer breeze, like for example a symetric light brown dress with v-shaped inserts in the middle in other shades of brown, that made this iteam some special eye-catcher.

In the second half of the catwalk finally Triumph, who was Penkov’s sponsor during London Fashion Week, got the chance to show their undies, when the designer presented spectacular creations which started as being halfway transparent and till the end got rid part of nearly any non-transparant piece of cloth. Dresses can’t get any lighter than that and the wearer will be rewarded with 100% of the attention she’s asking for. Sexy fashion at it’s best which offered a revealing look at the thrilling dessous underneath.

Of course some of the fashion pieces which Bernadett Penkov already showcased during Berlin Fashion Week as a result of her collaboration with the Berlin based porcellain manufacturer KPM were part of her London show. Looking that much futuristic that they reminded us immediately about one of Karl Lagerfeld’s famous words: “I never look back. I only look at the future, cause that’s where i’ll spend the rest of my life!”

The collection which Bernadett Penkov showed during London Fashion Week was very grown up. It contained eveything regarding quality and style, what you can expect from a collection shown during this internationally important fashion week.

On the interface between east and west, in the middle of Berlin, the designer createst fashion pieces that combine the practicality of the east with the west’s style and elegance, always containing the lightness of the metropolis. This is what makes Penkov one of the most prominent represantatives of the new Berlin school of fashion.
