Penkov W08/09 in Paris

Berlin-based Bernadett Penkov presents her W 08/09 collection at RENDEZ-VOUS @ Espace Pierre Cardin in Paris from February 28 to March 3.

Bernadett Penkov plays with masculinity and femininity, resulting in a bold style using black, white, silver, crème and light mint. A key item of the collection is the V-shaped dress with luxurious Art Deco elements. 

Precision detailing includes hand-applied ribbons, alongside tuxedo pants and mini tuxedo jackets for controlled masculinity.  Drawing inspiration from the Hollywood stars in silent movies, penkov eveningwear includes robes in silk satin, hand-sequined silk-georgette fabrics. Sophisticated coats in pure wool are part of the ensemble.
