Science Tunnel in Berlin

From February 26 to April 13, 2008 the multimedia exhibition “Science Tunnel” takes place at Thaer Hall of the Humboldt University in Berlin.

The Max Planck Society’s “Science Tunnel” turns the hottest research topics into a real adventure - and after exhibitions in Tokio, Singapur, Shanghai, Johannesburg and Seoul the »Science Tunnel« is now coming to Berlin for almost two months as part of its world tour. Visitors can immerse themselves in the world of the most advanced research. The Max Planck Society is seeking to especially inspire the up-and-coming generation for the fascinating search for knowledge in the world of science.

The exhibition with its motto “Come and be amazed!” will be presented in cooperation with The Museum of Natural History in the neighboring Thaer Hall at Humboldt University.

To round out the presentation, the exhibition “From Molecules to Medicine” sponsored by Bayer AG will show the road that basic, research-based knowledge is taking in the development of new pharmaceuticals, for example.

The “Science Tunnel” in Berlin is supported by BAYER AG, Humboldt University Berlin, the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft, The Museum of Natural History and Berlin Partner.
