Shed is Shedding The Past in September

Ingredients? Think of a spatter of Saunderson’s Detroit sound, a pinch of Aphex Twin rave and a twist of Manix hardcore – but that doesn’t really seem to be the point. Rather the “Archive Document” is the key - portraying a time capsule recording from the future that reminisces about the period following this records release. The voice announces the intention, emotional feeling and deference to the past without exisiting within it. Shed’s ‘True Techno Music’ is ever evolving, moulding both the best of moments past and the energy of the present, into the shape of things to come.

Shedding The Past by Shed will be released on September 1st worldwide on Ostgut Ton.

The record release party for Shedding The Past will take place on the 30th of August 2008 at Berghain/Panorama Bar, Berlin. Shed will be supporting the album with live dates across Europe in the autumn.
