Strychnin Gallery - Art Fair 21 Cologne
Strychnin Gallery Berlin/London/New York will be exhibiting at Art Fair 21 in Cologne from October 2nd until October 5th.
It’s already their second time to attend Art Fair 21 and they’ll be showcasing some range of interesting contemporary artists.
This year’s Art.Fair 21 is dedicated to the new asian markets. Besides of the 59 exhibitors there will be four gallies from Taiwan and six galleries from Corea who’ll present their range of artists in Cologne.
Last year ART.FAIR 21 drew a crowd of 30.000 visitors and the signs are good that this expanding art fair will even see more this year. The mixture of well known and young galleries with presenting well known as well as upcoming artists is a combiantion that makes this art fair so attractive which resulted in record sales last year.
The new concept which goes away from exhibiting in single booths towards more open spaces that range between 70 and 150 square meters results in some very individual forms of presentation for the attending 59 galleries which got chosen out of 200 that applied.
Yasha Young, owner of Strychnin Gallery will be speaking at the public press conference on October 2nd and her booth “B02” will present American artist David Hochbaum with an installation in the foyer of the art fair - 1.111 black birds will be suspended in mid-air flight above the staircase leading to the exhibition halls. This breathtaking sight alone will be worth a visit to Art Fair 21!
Besides of Hochbaum, Stychnin is presenting the following artists at ART.FAIR 21: Bijou, Wee Flowers, Ansgar Noeth, Madeline von Foerster, Marc Janssens, Daniel van Nes, David Hochbaum, Raf Veulemans, Till Krautkraemer.
