The Killers - What a show at Berlin’s Kesselhaus
The Killers exclusive showcase at Berlin’s Kesselhaus yesterday night, was one of the most outstanding shows of 2008.
In front of 1.000 fans, singer Brandon Flowers and band showed some unique performance, which even included 5 songs from their upcoming album “Day & Age”.
The exclusive concert presented by Berlin based radio station Radio Fritz, was already sold out few minutes after the presale started. The Killers in Berlin was one hell of an event which even German celebs like Daniel Brühl, Wotan Wilke Möhring and Alexandra Neldel didn’t wanna miss.
After The Killers recently filled the Berlin Arena location they did last night’s concert as a “thank you” to their German fans for their continuing support.
Having listened to “Human”, the first release of their upcoming album last night, it gets even harder having to wait any longer for their new album. “Human”, which is currently in the top 10 of the German trend charts is, just as last night’s show at Kesselhaus, kind of an appetizer for the upcoming album which will be released on November 21st. While composing the intuitive synthy pop number which was produced by Stuart Price, Brandon Flowers got his inspiration from artists like Johnny Cash and the Pet Shop Boys, as he recently revealed.
After more than 11 million albums sold worldwide in four years only and extended tours, the Killers, who are Brandon Flowers (voice/keyboards), David Keuning (guitar), Mark Stoermer (bass) and Ronnie Vannucci (drums), are about to again turn the music world upside down. With the new album “Day & Age”, which shows their enormous spectrum, the great band from Las Vegas which got rewarded with several platinum albums, finally aims for the throne of modern rock music.
Tonight The Killers will perform one of their songs live on German tv during the “TV total” show. Make sure to tune in if you’re in Germany or somewhere close to the border.
