The State-X New forms festival 2007
Aphex Twin and Motorpsycho will headline this year´s State-X New forms festival taking place December 14th and 15th 2007 at Paard van Troje in the Hague, NL.
State-X New forms is a festival for avant-rock, cutting edge electronics and multimedia performances in and around Paard van Troje including the infamous Prakpodium event at the Paardcafé located at Prinsegracht 8. Related to the content of previous years Prakpodium follows up the three topics X-Plore ( what are the new developments in experimental pop music), X-Plane (what is the historical context) and X-Pect (what´s to expect in the future).
The State-X New Forms festival which was founded in 2004 in order to combine the two festivals in the Hague called “State-X (HPC)” and “New Forms (Paard van Troje)” takes place in cooperation with HPC and Paard van Troje.

Pre-State-X party
On Friday 26th October the Pre-State-X New Forms Festival takes place at the Bazart with performances from Sunburned hand of the man (US), The Hot Stewards (NL/DK) and Einoma (ICE). Sunburned hand of the man (US) is well known for mixing psychedelica, weird folk and spacerock, The Hot Stewards promise to raise some eighties hell and finally Einóma, a collaboration between two Icelandic friends and studio partners, will delight the audience with ambient and minimal sounds.

State-X New forms festival
The two day festival sees Aphex Twin (UK) and Jackson and his Computerband (FR) perform on Friday whereas Norwegian rock band Motorpsycho, Netherland´s punkband The Ex feat. Getatchew Mekuria and friends as well as the UK/US band Jesu will rock the house on Saturday.
