Unrath & Strano - Luxury meets Berlin Fashion Week

At the final show of the day Unrath & Strano presented the glamorous highlight of the day at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin on July 18th.

Aside fashion newcomers who convince with unique ideas and fashion for the hard life in the city, glamour and luxury are an important part of every fashion week.

Sponsored again by Motorola, who cares about the design of their mobile devices as much as regarding the technical features, Unrath & Strano were to supply evidence about their attitude regarding fashion of high class.

With pleasure one remembers their January catwalk at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, the diamond studded guns wich were attached to belt buckles and the expensive presentation of the fashion duo’s designs at Berlin’s Postbahnhof. The fashion line they presented this time was their more casual line of fashion called “Unrath & Strano Celebrity” which was just as exciting.

Lightweight dresses with digital flower prints in silky shimmering red, striped patterns for the blouses, and the shirts for men, futuristic looking jeans suits and casual jackets with attached pockets showed some reserved elegance despite of the colourful patterns.

The evening dresses were as amazing as always. Luxury combined with lightness. Red was the colour which dominated the collection of Unrath & Strano. A dark red which brought back memories of evenings in a small bar in Rome on the banks of river Tiber with a glass of red wine in hand…

There were no diamond plated guns for us to remember but reptileprints which you could see in several dresses, the intersecting straps of the dresses which in a fancy way worked as a window for the cleavage and of course the designer’s dog who, at the end of the show, ran down the catwalk towards the photographers. This for sure was the funny highlight of a show with loads ups and very few downs.
