If you follow the Wall way beyond Oberbaum Brücke to Berlin’s far east, you’ll find the latest attraction at Nhow Berlin: a pink ice skating ring.

The newest amenity at the Nhow hotel might also be the coolest — literally.

Through Dec. 22, the outdoor terrace on the first floor has been transformed into a pink ice-skating rink and it’s open to hotel guests and nonguests alike.

There is a 4 Euro fee for skates or in case you bring your own, the same will be charged as entrance. The rink will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekday and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the weekends.

The video was filmed seven days ago in London. It features fireworks, levitation and three violin-playing Elvises.

Designers Against Aids (DAA) and H&M teamed up for the good cause in the latest Fashion Against Aids campaign.

We just got informed that the Spirit of Fashion got cancelled.

From the official press release: “One reason was the current market situation. In spite of the prospected large numbers of visitors the wholesale market’s worry were potentially too small order volumes. Further more, during the last two years many underground brands had adepted themselves to the fact that there was no adequate trade fair in Summer any more and focussed their long term strategy on being present at festivals.”

The January 2010 event will take place as planned and we are happy that Spirit of Fashion as the underground face of Berlin Fashion Week is there to stay.

The iPhone Dev team has posted a screenshot of a 2.2 baseband that appears to have been unlocked.

Before this breakthrough, if you updated to 2.2 through iTunes without a custom firmware file, you could not unlock your iPhone 3G.

However, according to the screenshot, it is now possible to unlock any 3G.
