Tomcraft ’s amazing “Boogie Nights” from last march is still unforgotten, but it was time for his next bomb, produced again in cooperation with studiomate Tobias Lützenkirchen.

Using the main theme from one of Tomcraft’s favourite films “Basic Instinct”, this track should become a milestone in atmospheric clubmusic for the german techno legend. Belgian wonderboy Ramon Tapia added his first remix for Great Stuff, just after release of his fantastic mini album “Mini Jack”, which gets massive props from all around the globe. The bonus track “They Don’t Know” is a simple but very effect! ive clubtune with its driving stabs and exploding breakdowns.

Today, December 12th, starting at 8pm Eastern Time, Pitchfork.tv will be streaming Daft Punk’s Electroma for 24 hours!

Pitchfork’s own Pitchfork.tv has convinced the robot powers to let them screen Electroma for one night and one night only this very weekend. It’s just like their usual “One Week Only” feature, except, you know, for a night.

The “odyssey” begins today, Friday December 12 at 8 p.m. EST and concludes precisely 24 hours later, at 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Fresh from a great performance at the MTV Europe Music Awards last night, Katie and Jules have found themselves with another great nomination!

The Ting Tings debut album We Started Nothing has been shortlisted for a Guardian first album award, which celebrates the best of British debut albums over the past year.

The Ting Tings have been confirmed to play the MTV Europe Music Awards this coming Thursday in Liverpool.

The event will be broadcast live so you can watch them perform by tuning in to MTV1 at 9pm on the day. There will be replays across the likes of MTV Base, Hits, Dance, MTV2, VH1 UK and VH1 Classic so you’ll be hard pushed to miss it.

Next saturday - August 9 - Fuckparade 2008 will happen again in Berlin.

The parade which was started as an alternative parade to Loveparade meanwhile survived Berlin Loveparade and will see it’s next edition in a week.

The goal of the organizers is to be a platform for alternative lifestyles. For the freedom of speech, music and art - for the right of every human to choose freely where you live and how you live your live.

Currently investors are aiming at building large office buildings along the river Spree. This would mean that many youth projects would have to move or finally close down and that the general public doesn’t have any more free access to the banks of the river.

To stop those companies is this year’s main topic of Fuckparade 2008. Join in next saturday and show your protest and claim your right to live freely in a free city.

If you turn on the radion in Germany atm chances are very good that Kid Rock’s current summer hit “All summer long” is playing.

If you’re a (very) long time music lover you will find similarities (which is a very weak description) between his song and Warren Zevon’s hit single Werewolves Of London released in 1978. Actually you don’t need to call the “Kid” a bad boy cause there are numerous covers of the Zevon song with the memorable “Ah-hoo”.
