Jochem Paap is well known for for milestones albums like G Spot (1993), Ginger (1995), Public Energy No. 1 (1997) and Loudboxer (2002), and club hits like Pull Over, Three ‘o Three, Something for Your Mind, Pannik and Kreck.
He headlined 2008‘s DEMF festival and played Glastonbury, Roskilde, Sonar, Montreux Jazz and Pinkpop to name a few.
„Red Shift“ is Speedy J’s first new techno / dancefloor release since 2006. His own label Electric Deluxe will issue digital releases only, while Vinyl is released through Plus 8. It will be a platform for artists, operating within any conceivable genre in the broad spectrum of techno, who wish to fully explore and embrace the ever-expanding technological possibilities, manifesting in the label and the Electric Deluxe Events series, currently resident at Melkweg, Amsterdam.
